Where is the old you?

People changes. One act like they don’t know us but they did.  I respect her.  We were in the same school back then till now even we were not a close friend. We have different schedule. I gave a hi greet and smile while bumping her on the street. Well, we were always rushing. It frustrated when she didn’t answered back. It was not the first time. Where is her sense?  Is she really didn’t acknowledge me or it was an act? Am I an invisible person that always waving hand to her? My respect at her start to fade. Wilted rose

Winter is coming

Warning!
The not-soooo-poetic poem :P and may have some grammatical or vocabulary errors. ('~')

The light fresh breeze started to greet me
Trees were wavering and leaves were falling
Just like a scene of romantic drama
Love and kissing the tranquility
When ambling under the tree

A heavy sandstorm hit me
Near the hustle bustle road
Forcing my big eyes to be small
Pushing my limbs going back home

The rain emerged from the slithery cloud
Pouring down on earth
Leaving the mud pools everywhere
Patterning my skirt brown dots

Winter is coming!
Morning breeze expel the chill air
Neither snow nor heavy fog
My head and toes go numb
Rubbing and friction both hand
To warm the frozen digits

 Days are getting shorter
Nights are growing longer
Seeing little girls holding hand
Trying to cross the road
On their fashionable winter coat
 oh so cute!

Sweet memories will be made
Delighting the beautiful dream
Reviving heart and soul
Brings new hope and courage
To go further beyond the degree
In the wintry season.

Love You Mom

It was end of 2008 and I was in 2nd semester of science foundation studied in UM. As usual, I would call my parents every week to hear from theirs till one day my mom advise was really extra strange and rare. I felt so weird, confused and sense something bad. Why would she say like that?  My mind was a bit disturbed after that creepy call. So, to neutralize my mind, I called my brother in Sabah. We were happily chatting. However mom's word still haunted in my mind. I wanted to know what actually went wrong with her and asked him whether he knew something. He told me to be patient and I just cool about that. He was breaking bad new. He told chronologically the event and what we need to do. My heart beat faster when I heard it. My feeling was mixed, wanna cry but I didn't. After that call, I lied down on my bed and rearranged every single word that my brother had told me. It was hard to believe but I had to. She is someone I love. My own brother is someone I trust. I closed my eyes and suddenly tears rolling down and I cried. Many thought came to my mind. My roommate wasn't in room at that time. So, I called a close sister to have a talk.

My whole body was trembling as I was walking to her room. I asked for her advise. I acted strong even I am weak inside. She told me that "Allah will never give test to person who cannot afford to face it. He know you can and He give test. That means He remember you. He love you. He doesn't neglect you. So, cheer up sis." That sentence settled down my sadness and make me strong. I will remember her word forever.

Then, I had mid-semester break. It was a week. Everyone was excited going back home while I was preparing mental and physical to face my mom with strong happy face and to go through any circumstances. I didn't know whether my mom knew that I knew something about her. Till a moment when I sat beside her, she told me everything and she would be having an operation soon. I knew this kind of atmosphere would happened. I was grateful for my brother's word, I knew what to do, and what we all should do. We supported her the very best. Luckily, my brother was also having a posting in the same hospital where my mom was admitted and he has been given golden opportunity to be in mom's operation room with other surgeons.

The week was busy for us. I was lucky as it was holiday for me. I even skipped classes for 2 days. Who cares! I was having time with my mom. I saw what my mom went through. It was hard. I made use that moment to the fullest with her even before i flied oversea furthering my studies. I helped her and tried my very best.

Now, it has been 5 years my mom post struggle with it. My mom is going well and better. Thanks Allah. I want to erase that critical moment time by time. I am thankful to Him for letting me spending time with her. Maybe that had been a reason why i didn't have opportunity to study abroad at that time; to be with and support my mom. I am grateful for that chances.

Today, I was happy as i just finished presenting my case this morning till i saw mom's status on her  Facebook timeline. I didn't know how to react. Hers really reminiscing me back that memory. My heart squeezing tightly, really deep. My eyes pool with tears. I stopped doing what i was doing, lying down on my purple carpet looking up the ceiling and thinking of her past. Thanks mom for being strong, kicking and alive. I will always pray for you. Love you mom. <3 comment-3--="" nbsp="">

LIMIT

Assalamualaikum and hi.

Hot headline of this week : Villa Nabila. Many people become sudden interest to this villa since a story of a boy disappeared plus other ridiculous headline made by metro related to the villa. At last, the boy was found in his friend's house. -_-  lol.. 'Kecoh r'. Okay, at least the boy was safe and his mom relieved. ^_^

Before this hot issue become popular, i had read a newspaper/articles on top scary places in this country but i'm not quite remember which source was.:P The writer listed some places for paranormal-activities seeker. Villa Nabila is one of it. I had read the story behind this haunted villa and whispered myself,  "aahh, this kind of story also happened in Malaysia? I thought it only happened in movie and in western countries. A family has been murdered.'' ('o')  Since the boy's story become an attention lately, throngs of people visit the villa and trying their luck to see any abnormal supernatural activities and to prove it is spooky or not. Hurmm..

By the way, it's Friday. This post is not about that haunted villa but the LIMIT Japanese drama i watched. :P  It's based on Manga series. It composed of complete 12 episodes with duration of 30 minute each. So, it short and didn't take a long duration like some korean drama.

Detail of the drama:

click picture to watch online

I don't want to be a spoiler by telling you all the things happened in the story. It's suspense. But it really sad to lost all friends/classmate in a tragic incident! :'(

:D :D I want to watch the Gravity movie online next time. I read a review in Time asia magazine last October on it and many of Gravity get wrong. However, i heard it is a jaw-dropping movie. I wanna watch it and somehow relate. Sure cool..  XD  Ok, the other time.

For those who still do not watch it and wanna to relate, i think there is Time online for the review. aahhaa.. luckily, there is.  Click here--> Gravity

Upper Egypt, Luxor & Aswan trip (3) - Final

Assalamualaikum and Hi!

This post is a part of a series of my vacation diary to Luxor and Aswan during last January.  .....φ(・∀・*I am documenting my beautiful memory along the vacation while my memory is still fresh-but-not-too-fresh..:P (part 3)

31st January 2013

It was 2.15 am. We woke up, packed things in and prepared ourselves. Then, hotel check out! Our eyes were very heavy as we were sleepy. We met others at the hotel’s lobby. But we still need to wait for all.. Everyone face was weary. We  got into bus around 3.10am. However we missed 2 friends who still not get into the bus yet.. haha.. after around 15min waiting, we saw them with hat on their head. XD lol..

Our bus moved to the bus meeting area. The trip was a convoy and lead by polices. Many buses were seen there and we were the last.. hurmmm.. (-_-) We slept all the time but of course woke up on and off.. lol.

Pretty sunrise..

We reached Abu Simble temple after around 4-5 hr journey. It was around 9am. Sunny and windy. I saw a little puppy standing alone on the road. Awww.. it was so cute~ i took a picture of it even from far.

There were not many people living here. Only some who run souvenirs stall, tickets, and taking care of this place. So our visit was a blast for them as one of their chances to earn money..;D We walked into the entrance, grab the ticket, and started our exploration.

A group of dogs. They were  like ancient dogs. -,-
One of the head gone?! :D

Actually this was not the the real site of the temple as the original site had been submersed under water due to construction of Aswan high dam. The temple disassembled and reconstructed again. I am not good in telling a history but one can check here for any detail.

Trying to act like Indana Jones before with that red hat. But, Failed!! Epic!-_-'

It was nearly 12 at noon. All visitors should finish their activities and traveled. However, we encountered one big problem----------> the bus was run off solar/gas..  according to Mr John (i don't know what his name, i just called him by the name of the bus...lol), the bus still had solar but not enough to get to our next place even to the nearest solar station.

Discussing with policemen. .

By the way, the policeman asked him to still drive. We got into the bus and started to move and stopped before we left the village..:( Mr John can't take the risk. Thinking of our safety, he asked us to arranged vans to get reach to Aswan. Yes logically thought, the police car moved far at front, if we stuck in middle of the hot desert, nobody there, who gonna helped us, or if as robbery case might happened, who gonna protect us?! >:-0 ..   (-''-) ..   huuurmmm.. Ok, Allah does. :) hehe.. but our plan for tomorrow's destination will be ruin !!! Oh my hot balloon adventure!

We stopped here with Sudanese people.  ^_<

So, we agreed with the suggestion, got the vans and bye bye-d Mr John. haha.. There were 4 vans. My friends and i got into one and started traveled. I was a bit comfortable as i could open the window. Love the rushing wind blown on my face.. lol. We reached Aswan and continue our journey back to Luxor by another bus. Fuhh.. What a test!

We reached Luxor around 6.30 pm and checked in into a hotel. We had other activity that night. It was 'sound of light' at Karnak Temple. Many people joined. Mostly Egyptian as language used that night was Arabian language. So, we, the smaller creature holding hand and weaving in and out between them. lol.

See ! So many people... with camera..:P

 Such a colourful night.

We were very exhausted as it was such a long journey since early in the morning. Aswan-Abou Simbel-Aswan-Luxor..  But i was excited as in the next morning i would have a joyful ride of hot air balloon. Hoyyeah!

1st February 2013

My friend and I who joined in hot air balloon adventure woke up early in the morning. All needed to gather up at 5 am in the lobby. We were very excited as this was the first time we got chance to ride on it. We ambled to the river bank and took a boat to get across it. We were served a cup of hot tea in the chill morning. It was so refreshing!. After that, we went to a wide field area where many balloons were placed. We were extra jolly when we saw them! Cant believe, i would ride it soon! Super cool!

"Woah!"   the first word came out from my mouth after we saw this big thing.XD.

Very hot! >_<

hahahaha... looked like balloon's google map in 3D!

Sunrise on 1st February.^_^

View from above.  We also bye-byed people from above. (^_^)/

So tiny this sugarcane field. Look like mosses.. B)

Love the ride! <3>

Then the shoes shot.. Isk3.   -_-'

See how they were squeezing the balloon to push out the gas inside.  0,0

And each of us got a certificate. :D

Back to our hotel by boat..;)

We were very hungry as we reached the hotel.o_0. We ate all the food left that we brought since the 1st day. We checked out from the hotel at 12pm and ate lunch. After the guys settled Jumuah prayer, we went to the last place which were Hatshepsut temple and monument around it. Oh yea, Mr John bus came back..lol :D We took pictures.

Le me with all friends of the trip.:)
Le me in green in front of  the temple

Le me with Yukinohanian..:D

Le me with friends. Captured by along. ^_^

Le me with all of friends at the monument in nearby area.;)

As for souvenirs, we were brought to a marble (i am not so sure about kind of stone type) shop nearby..

 A child demonstrated one. :P

Glow in the dark handmade carved stone. :D

It was about 8pm when we traveled back to Cairo and Mr John was too kind to send us to Mansoura. We reached Mansoura at around 10am in the next morning.  Exhausted! But imagining a big bus on Mansoura street was just lol.. Tetibe je.

A shocked new. About 2 weeks later after this wonderful trip, we heard a new of hot air balloon crashed at Luxor. By this headline:

Egypt: Hot Air Balloon Crashes Near Luxor, Killing 19 Tourists

OMG! :0   The page had even a video. I was so grateful as we were safely landed. The balloon was also not as i rode in last 2 week.  :') The memory of happily rode it was still fresh during that time. Thanks to the captain in charge.  However, I am sorry for what had happened to them. :(
