Covid go away!

It's been a year and half since it started. It really hit most of peoples out there, especially those who are doing self-work.  I miss traveling. I miss seeing a lot of peoples and feeling free without the mask. However, this pandemic really trouble us much. Peoples are afraid travelling for the risk for getting infected.  But we are hoping time will heal and we are getting better through vaccine programme. Hope for all to take the vaccine.

Working as a frontliner is not an easy task. I had been chance to treat and incharge of Covid ward in one of Covid Hospital in north. It was a meaningful and one-in-a-chance experience to have been through. There were old person and there were young, toddlers and even babies. There had been peoples died and also peoples that had been discharge home happily. Even my husband and I had been in home surveilance for Covid. It's not easy and emotionally drained. We cannot see each other and missed each other a lot. Sad! Not to mention, we also had been swabbed multiple time. But, it's ok. Now, I'm back to my own hospital again. Still, I am glad to be standby and to serve again if needed there.

Hope our situation getting better. So, let's play our role and get vaccinated!

My New Hobby

Hi and good afternoon. It's been a long time i haven't do blogging and today i want to share my hobby. Who know we have the same hobby too 'wink2' and we could share some tips together. It been few months since i had finish my training in hospital. Alhamdulillah. i am a bit relieve now, however, i still have a long journey ahead and challenges to face in future. I didnt have much time during my training and even my blog was spidey' everywhere.. haha.. I even forget what was my hobby before. okay never mind... My current hobby is GARDENINGGGG!!!

Girls love flowers. So i am. Lately i bought some rose trees. At first i didn't know that roses have different name and identification. I went to this 1 day English-Rose-but-heat-proof sale. I got amazed by different id written on white card and tagged to each rose tree. I saw everyone was googling the picture of the flower in the internet. I guessed i would buy only a tree but nope, i had bought 4 trees!! OMG! This is not a good sign in the future. The first batch i bought were...

They are so lovely right.. Blooming here in my so called 'kampung' garden. The next 2 week, they open the sell again, and yet i still buy another 4 id. Seeeeeeee!!! As i told u before. This is actually a virus! Girl's syndrome may be? Will update later their id and picture okay.. muaxx

Working

Time flies so fast. I've been married in 2016. I've been working for 1 year and 5 month i guess. What the fish! Many things change! Still remember the day i married. Feel like its been a while. Thanks to my dearest husband 'Dr Mus' who has always been with me through thin and thick, during my journey of my sickness, craziness, laziness, unstable mood, foolishness and all the killer question that answered. lol.. love u so much..

Working in KKM is a challenge. I am dealing with health of patients. There were many time i had been scolded by my superiors, there were numerous time i felt like quitting. Feeling tired, exhausted.. All i think was quitting , quitting and quitting. I had imagined myself in another job. I'd been planning not to continue in this field. I don't know whether ikhlas is still there in mine. And yet i still working in KKM till now. Well done dear! I remember my friend told me something regarding a thing that i ponder during my last posting. And i would like to share with you guys.. There are 3 kind of people whom work, either to gain experience, money, or job.

Category 1: Who work to gain experience.
This kind of people is superb! They don't mind working extra hours as long they get much experiences.

Category 2: Who work  target on money.
They will work extra hour to gain extra money. They will further taking professional exam to upgrade their status for their salary to reach their target. Once reach, they will be comfortable.

Category 3: Who work for their job
This kind of people always back on time. Doesn't care much on their current job. As long they have a job and it is okay.

I know mine. But what's yours?

Writing again.:P blogginginging

It's been a long time i had stop blogging. I don't know why, but, i should start writing again. Last week i needed to make a resume. My job's resume need to be fantastic! boom ka boom! with my activities list. Luckily, this blog kinda help me a little. lol. My memory become weaker i guess. humm. so i think i should start blogging and continue progressing my journal to keep track on what i'm doing in life.. :P What a silly reason!

Okay, back from the last post which was in September 2015, it was just a copy paste and it really was my situation. I don't know why i was overthinking and it make me stress out of reason. I searched many motivation and inspiring article a lots. I lost nowhere. And there's walla! an article about the voice! I did share so that i can read it again if im having that situation again. Overthinking did end that time but not nowaday, after year. Am i having mental disorder? haha. oh please dont!

So, the very last activity's post was April 2015. It's been a year and half! What im doing during that long period! This is my task to recall back everything and journal-ize them before i start to work so that i dont get lost in track of my activities. Besides, i can 'sengih sensorang' when i read them again. Good idea haa? haha.. okay, what's first?

Salute to all friends that never stop blogging till now. :D

The Voice

The Voice in My Head

http://www.pathwaytohappiness.com/writings_voice_in_head.htm

For most people the mind has developed into something that does incessant describing, comparing, and judging. When I didn’t have any awareness I didn’t notice how busy it was all the time. When I noticed it, I just assumed that it was me thinking. I didn’t think of my thinking as judgmental. I just thought that my opinions were the right ones. Because I was comfortable with my opinions for a long time they didn’t bother me. But then in times of stress when the voice in my head would keep me up at night, I began to notice things were out of balance.

The Voice of Knowledge in my Head has a Life of its Own
Where did the voice come from and why is it so hard to make it be quiet? Do you ever notice the voice in your head has a lot of self-judgments? How come when I try to turn off the voice in my head it doesn’t seem to work?

Most everyone has this type of chatter in their mind to varying degrees. The difference is that some people identify with it, and feel it is them. Other people realize that their mind has taken on a life of its own and decide to do something about it.

One of the most helpful things in this process of quieting the voice in your head (the Voice) is to realize where it came from and what it is doing there. Understanding the origin of the Voice will help you let go of judgmental reactions during this process.  Understanding your own thinking is so important that my mentor don Miguel Ruiz wrote The Voice of Knowledge devoted to this subject.

Understanding the Voice in Your Head
One of the first steps to eliminating self-judgments and chatter is to recognize that the voice in your head never means you any harm. It may be the source of self-criticism and unkind comments, but that was never its intent. Believe it or not, it originally developed to help us feel emotionally safe and happy. It is usually operating under the premise that it is trying to protect us.

The inner voice of self-judgment develops in a young mind with the merging of memory and logic. Before memory and logic developed, we stayed in the present moment where there is only the desire and action to express ourselves. Before memory and logic, if we wanted to go outside and play, we would run outside and play. Later, mom might tell us to pick up our toys, and we still might run out and play. But, as memory developed, we could recall mom scolding us in the past for not cleaning up our toys.

With logic our mind would link the cause and with the painful effect of being punished. Then one time running outside to play we would see our toys and a little voice in our head would remind us, “I should pick those up.” The Voice was an echo from memory trying to tell us how to logically avoid the emotional pain of punishment.

Sometimes after being punished or feeling something unpleasant, an agreement like, “I should have picked up my toys,” gets stored in the memory also. The Voice was learning and reminding us what to do in order to be happy. Our memory was also storing all the suggestions from the Voice to be repeated back to us later when we needed. We learned to follow the Voice in order to avoid breaking other people’s rules that would get us punished. The Voice couldn’t know the future, but it echoed a rule from the past of what would cause us pain. In this way the voice in our head always lives in the past and projects assumptions of the future. It keeps us from experiencing the present moment.

The Voice also told us what to do in order to get rewarded with attention, and love, “I should…clean up my room, eat my vegetables, be quiet, stay in line and get good grades.” Do these things and people will like you, accept you, and love you. Do these things and you will be happy. The Voice echoed all the right rules based on the punishments and rewards stored in memory.

As a young child, we saw adults as very unpredictable, so we began to trust the little voice in our head more than anyone else. Even our parents who loved us couldn’t be completely trusted because they would also punish if we did something wrong. Maybe we got blamed and punished for what our brother did, and concluded that we couldn’t trust mom or dad with the truth. The voice in our head was the guide to emotional safety in a world of bigger people who had the power to punish us and take away our rewards.

We created that Voice in our Head by building memory with rules. We invested a lot of faith in the Voice as something we could trust in an uncertain world. It became like a Guardian Angel speaking in our mind telling us what to do. We gave it great authority and power over our choices and trusted it to be right.

The Voice grew and learned to look at things in our past and gave interpretations of what we “should have done” and “shouldn’t have done.” It gave us advice about our future and what we “should do,” and “should be.” Its opinion was built with the intelligence of our own logic. It drew on every memory for evidence. Later in life the voice sounds like us speaking and thinking when it is only the echoes of memory that have come alive. Sometimes we mistakenly put our trust in the voice from memory and think we are trusting our Self. We lose our identity and follow the rules of should and shouldn’t echoing from the past instead of being in the moment.

When we continue with this approach to life we create problems as we get older. When we were young our emotional well-being was based on how other people reacted to us. The logic rules we created were based on the rewards and punishments given out by others, but as we got older people didn’t punish and reward us the same way, or at all.
We would work hard at something but no one would notice and no one would reward us. At the same time we might feel a fear or nervousness that someone would do something against us if we didn’t please them. Wondering about what other people think of us is a clue to these past patterns. We are trying to please others with our rules of "should" from the past.

Other Problems Develop with Faulty Logic and Illusions in the Mind
Problems also arise because many rules in the mind were based on faulty assumptions. Mom might be upset at something else in her life but snap at us when we asked for something. The interpretation from the voice would say, “I shouldn’t ask for what I want.” We incorrectly assume that we were at fault and store that false belief in memory.
Perhaps mom is kind and wants to say yes, but has the good sense not to give us the pony that we ask for. Our disappointment is painful and the logic gets distorted with the agreement, “Asking for what I want only leads to pain.”

The mind mistakenly assumes our asking was the cause. It wasn't aware of the emotional attachment, expectation, or of the practical aspects of keeping a pony. The Voice wouldn’t include these understandings. It assumed that everything was about us, and only noticed that we asked. Even if the Voice made it about someone else, “she shouldn’t be that way,” memory stored that rule for us to follow as well.

If we had a broken heart the Voice would make rules so we didn’t get hurt again. It would declare, “All men are…” or “women are all the same.” It would swear off a whole gender as a solution to not feeling emotionally hurt. “Falling in love just leads to heartbreak.” It made declarations not based in truth. Later in life the rules make us afraid of expressing our love and asking for what we want.

There was no other part of our mind monitoring it for exaggerations and common sense in those moments. We had trusted its logic implicitly for so many years we didn’t question the exaggerations or faulty logic. We agreed to the rules with no consideration for how it might limit our happiness and choices for the rest of our life.

Perhaps a second heartbreak would bring a harsh criticism such as, “I knew better and I didn’t listen to myself.” “I am such an idiot.” As we got older we learned to accept harsher and harsher comments from the Voice. The harshness was accepted under the assumption that the criticism might make us obey the rules so we didn’t get hurt anymore.
We are sold on the logic of following the rules of the punishing voice as the path to emotional safety and happiness. Sometimes as adults we become so busy following the rules we don’t stop to wonder if they are true. No other part of our mind had been assigned to limit self-criticisms. We continue to live in the paradigm that the voice in our head was there to help us be happy even when it isn’t true anymore.

We invested the personal power of our faith in the Voice for so long that it took on a life of its own. It runs repeatedly with self-judgments and chatter completely separate from us. It is no longer a helpful Guardian Angel. Because it is largely our own voice programmed into memory we don’t recognize it as a separate entity. We usually don’t see it as a separate being until we are stressed and can’t sleep at night because of its chatter.

We spend our energy trying to satisfy its rules hardly noticing many of those rules contradict each other. “We should go after that promotion” conflicts with “I should spend more time with my family.”   “I want to ask her out,” conflicts with fear of her saying no. Amidst this chaos in the mind we forget that all the rules were intended to bring us happiness in our life. Yet emotions like love and joy hardly have room to be felt amidst its incessant chatter of what we “should” do and “shouldn’t do.” At this point our Guardian Angel has fallen into may fear based and false beliefs and spends its time yelling them at us.

Freeing Ourselves from the Fallen Angel
For some people the life crisis comes when they find out they followed all the rules in their mind and didn’t end up happy like their little voice assumed they would. For others, midlife crisis and disillusionment may not even be enough to challenge the false rules in their head. You might just make new rules and opt for new toys or a new mate instead.

The reality to accept is that the Voice in your head does not know how to be happy. It only knows what it stored in memory from the past about how other people would react. It knows how we should have behaved in the past in order to get the best reaction from people in the past. It has knowledge of what we have to do for others to accept us, but not about how to accept our self. The voice does not know how to express love or joy, or laugh.

We can free ourselves from the faulty logic of the mind by choosing not to believe its rules anymore. But the Voice will not go easily. Just the thought of being without that Voice can bring up fears. We are powerful creators and have made it strong by investing our faith in it for many years. Even though you can’t seem to move it at times it is not stronger than you. It is like a large tree in your garden that has been there for years and grown roots. You may not be able to pull it out in with your hands in a day, but with some tools and time you can clear it away. It may appear stronger in a moment, but you have time, intent, and faith on your side. All you need is to add is some tools to take care of the job.

We will challenge the rules when we are tired of being unhappy. We will let go of the mind when we no longer accept the illusion of emotional safety that it offers. We will challenge the voice in our head when the fear of suffering under its faulty logic is greater than the fear of being without it's illusion of protection. We will defy the faulty logic when we realize it is based in fear and we don’t want to be afraid anymore. Our desire to be happy is the force that will propel us to personal freedom from the voice in our head.

The path to emotional integrity and harmony with your mind is through awareness, acceptance, and forgiveness, something the voice in our head knows nothing about. We begin to discover, for the first time, that our happiness in life has little to do with other people’s reactions and more to do with expressing our own emotions of love. The rules the voice in your head have you follow do not usually direct you to follow your heart and do what you love. Fortunately there is a lot more to our being than just the thinking voice. We have many other dimensions that we can look to for guidance in overcoming the voice in our head and creating happiness in our life.

Let go of the Judgments about the Voice
Whether you realize it or not the voice in your head has been doing the very best it could to guide you to be happy and successful. However it has been operating on an outdated set of guidelines that no longer apply. It's intent has always been for our happiness, however it's methods have become exaggerated to the point of being abusive.

Understanding this is a big step towards quieting that Voice. It will allow you to let go of your complaints and judgments about the fallen angel. Recognizing that it did the very best that it could will help break the judgments you have about that Voice. With an understanding that it never meant you any harm comes the opportunity for acceptance and compassion. Acceptance and compassion for your self is an important first step towards the redemption of a fallen angel that lives in your head.

Fire.Damietta.Orabi.Book fair :)

The beginning of this year was tough for me. There was a tragic incident that happened at my house. It was a week before winter break. A fire explosion burnt all my properties. It happened at night, sudden and may due to electricity, i guess. It started by a loud boom sound coming from my room when electricity was on after 40 minute blackout. Fortunately i was in other friend's room, chatting. No one knew how it started. The days after were hectic but thanks Allah for making the process easy for me and my friends. In a limited time, we need to search, choose and select a house to live. We also moved and stayed at friends' house. I moved from house to house, i think 4 in my count. It sound hard but we had face it for a month, patiently. However, there came a rainbow after the rain. Who know we had became stronger than before. We also got much help. We settle down landlord affair, move into new house, and recover. Alhamdulillah, we almost done the recovery.....

By the way, in order to kill the fire scene that played on my mind during winter break, and the stress coming during the process, i went for some trip. For a chill out! Not to mention, i need to cancel days trip to Sinai too and having a day like of trip. I need to present in any meeting regarding previous house problem. Is not being able to go to Sinai my fate? hurmmm, but never mind, i went to Damietta, Orabi and enjoy a book fair last winter break.. :) & i made the summary on that days.

24/1: Damietta

It was day six after the incident. Sound of wave seem to calm me a lot. I was having a picnic on sandy beach. Seem like there were many Malaysian come here too. I was not into collecting the cockles on that day but more to relax. Lying down on sand while hearing the sound of wave soothe my mind. It kept me out of problems for a while. Really, i really wanted to lay down on the sand, slept and enjoy the sound for much longer but time tickles. My friends and i went to the market to buy seafood. I craved for the prawn, so I bought prawn, squid and hanger. huh, hanger? yup,  that things we used to hang the cloth.. haha...

At Damietta beach, searching... and also Raas el Bar where the Nile river end.

31/1: Orabi

The bus driver lost at city of Cairo. He did not know how to bring us to Orabi. Maybe he was still new in this job field. We went for sand boarding and it was my third time. The day with the horses was so great! We did horse riding around the area, pat and giving green leaves to them at the stable. Love all of them. I think there was connection between me who born in horse year and the real horse.. sob.sob :') Later, we done shooting. The sniper actually heavy and i failed to shot the target. The target was a white cone and a plastic cup. We also done archery and my target was a lion at that time. Yeah, to be precise, i aimed for the heart but what the fish! i got only the hair! that big hair! urghh. A bit disappointed. The last game was colored water fight and it really a war. There was no pity, no compromise but only evil intention! All got wet!

Beautiful yet memorable experiences..:)

3/2:  Cairo book fair

I know that i will spend more if i bring lots of money. So this time, it was a budget shopping. Look like i cant resist the temptation of seeing lots of books. Seems like my mind went 'buy first, read later'.. I bought 8 books. I was so happy seeing my books, excited, till i slept with them after i covered the edge of their cover page with tape that night.. ok hurmm..-_-'  xsenonoh~

The aliens at the main gate and tried to make unification.:P

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

That's all for my winter break trip. They were just simple but enjoyable.. :') Time to get back to the class.

24

----------------

31/12/14

Lately, i've been thinking on many things in my life. I am 24 years old woman now. The word woman itself bring a lot of meaning to peoples' expectation. I should know i'm not a girl anymore and should be wise and be a real woman. I realize I still have inner side of immaturity. I want to do something to reach their expectation. Maybe i'll just try to fake it till i make it but i feel that hipocrisy hit me. Sigh. People asked me to be myself but i don't really know who i am. In 24 years of my life, i did really change my own self many time. Seem like i kinda changed by the surrounding environment, things circulating in my daily activities and people who have been together or entering my life. Me with different role, different character and different way of living. And in 24 yrs of my life, i kinda tired sometime. I am tired with all that happened in my life. I frustrated, upset, not satisfied with some reason and lost hope. Older people who read this may think 'what the hell is she thinking about...'  Yeah, I just want to sleep all day and been away from this place. No connection. Nobody will reach me, silent, peace and dark. Please don't misjudged me. I'm not thinking about ending my life as what you may think. My life was not as hard as i know other people are facing right now. I could just describe it as jagged and stony. Maybe i just need to have a vacation and a moment of solitude. Recharging myself.

What i had done so far in 24 years? Somehow, i feel i am still lacking a lots when i think about it. I was jealous at some people for their success and their good luck. I felt like i'm always in the bottom. I know i need to improve. I need to get out from my comfort zone. Have i done enough contribution? Have i done enough changes? What i had done so far in 24 years? I am not sure. I am not as my old me. I felt a piece of me has lost. Urrghh, why i feel totally lame and miserable while writing this post. Maybe this is a result of over thinking and i'm feeling down. My mind kinda messy right now. I don't know what my future hold. Do i still have chance to do what i want? Do i live in a life i dreamt about in next decade? Do i manage to accomplish my goal? And most important thing is, do i still have time and age for all that. I always keep thinking about them again and again. Do i still have time......? only Allah knows.

I should stop writing before my messy-miserable-down-like sentence become heavier. You are such a psycho girl! opss, woman-to-be.  By the way, I made a self reflection session this month. I asked friends and my family about me and got feedbacks. There were some view from theirs open my mind. As new year has come, i should be better, learning and love myself more. InsyaAllah~

Thanks Allah for blessing me again with another year.

--------HAPPY NEW YEAR 2015--------

My Summer Story: Matruh & Siwa Vacation

Do u have gut to enjoy a desert during summer? Blazing sun and hot weather? Pheww.. Well i had done that :')It all start when we done expressing our heart with 'gile kentang soalan dr bagi!' for pediatrics exam :I. Well, to release our tension, we planned a small group trip to Matruh and Siwa. This place is an oasis located at western Egypt. Opss, i mean the Siwa one. So the scenery along the journey was about the same as my trip to Bahariya last winter. Yeah, i know it is all about brown, rocky, and sandy world. However Matruh is one of tourist site with beautiful beaches.;)

19th of June 2014

The journey to Matruh took around 6-7hrs from Cairo and of course we had stop in some places. We check in hotel, rest and went to our first place, Agiba beach.

This is how Agiba beach look like.:)

The beach is soooooo wonderful and picturesque.. SubhanAllah!!. I got very super duper excited. So, our main highlight here was bathing and playing with crystal clear water plus sunbathing. lol. and of course, taking the pictures too. :)

At first, we ate lunch..
then taking picture with canyon-like rock ^-^, feeling a Californian,

and looked for the water. :P it's so clear!!

Once we get into the water..

...our excitement was shining sparkly! haha.

Our next top model pose while sunbathing. Oh please don't be nauseated by this. >.<

Sigh, a fail selfie under a blue sky~  that's ok 'lah' for the no front camera handset.. amateur.

This Agiba beach alive only in summer. Yeah, nobody was stupid enough to throw themselves into the cold water during winter except in suicide attempt maybe..  -_-'

We also went to Hamam Cleopatra or cleopatra lavatory? toilet? restroom? hurmm, i rather think of Cleopatra Bath...  Meh, it is just a huge rock at first look but when we approached nearer, there was a gate or way to get inside it. 0-0.

Watch out for jagged stone floor !

Guys sunbathing version.. on the rock. -_-'

We climbed in and there were 2 holes: each at our right and left to where we were standing. Water poured from one of it to another hole along the tide. Oh yeaa, the rock has hole on the ceiling that allow the sun ray to warm the water during bathing. Ok, economic water heater for Cleopatra.:P

The view from inside the rock. I know, it's a bit unpleasant to see. Yup, sorry for that..

We came in wrong time and couldn't see the sight of water flowing inside it. Ok, next time maybe.

Taking picture first before we leave.

and  another picture.:D

I tell you, this is Cleopatra and kids love her..

But we were gossiping about her at the back..XD

We are forteen: Pikah, Fatin, Kelly, Hana, Sarah, K. Sab, K Zana, K. Attia, K. Ulfah, Izzat, Amirul, Izani, Muhammad and lastly me. Yuppy, less and efficient.:D

Our day visit in Matruh has ended.  We were so hungry and we did dinner hunting later on!! We shopped at a bazaar, ate KFC and chatting. I don't know what we were chatting at but i just go with the flow. haha. In the same time, my eyes scanned for any fun place to visit :B.. lol. So, we had a peek at a souvenir stand nearby and i got a blue bracelet from my friend. Ok, that's after i persuaded her. -_-' We walked to our hotel and I really got lost where i was. We was lucky to have Ulfah with us, she remembered the direction. Uhh, thanks Allah! We got back to hotel save and sound. :)

20th of June 2014

Our next place was Siwa Oasis. It took 4 hrs to reach there from Matruh. We arrived at a hotel and our first thing to do was eat. Yeah rite, eat.^-^.  Preparing and loading......
There were many places to be visited on this day. Take a deep breath~

Ok, our first place was Shali Ancient Fortrees.

Tadaa!! Our first thing to see and do when we arrived here were..

...climbing.

Actually, we went to a building located on top of the small hill. It was the oldest monument built in Shali and also the oldest mosque in the world maybe. This mosque was once constructed using the mixture of clay and salt. Wow, that's one of unique thing i heard! Yeah, I am sure they replaced it to concrete to preserve the building, rite?

There were also old men sitting and chatting inside. Their language has slang!

Back to this fortress story, there were 2 gate to get inside this oasis: west and east gate. Since this place is located far in the desert, people built this fortress to protect themselves and their food storage from the outsiders. They live in it for hundred years. However rain had poured for days (as i remembered) and had leave them roofless. Nice story. ;D

I wonder how this scenery look like at night~ I'm sure it will be awesome!

Siwa view from our site..:)

Our next place was Mountain of Death, a creepy name of place i heard! ~.~  Huh guess, I even had an imagination of seeing many tombs on the mountain before reaching the place. The flash view of Chinese tombs with smoke come from the red stick came to my mind. I even had a joke with my brother that the place is haunted too. lol. However it was beyond all that.;)

Yes, we are here!
Is it the mountain of death? yea it is!

This is the entrance of amun' pharoah tomb. Its very dark inside. Phone light was used.

As the pharoah was sent' along with his wealth and belonging, some people had come to dig and stole them. I don't know what else left for him..:P

See! No creepy things here. Just two happy face..:D

It was just a short visit at Mountain of Death. We rode on bus again, passed the palm and olive farm to reach our next place which is called Alexandria Oracle Temple. Sigh, i kinda miss most of the explanation. I was way back behind busying taking pictures requested by my friend. Hurm. Never mind.:) This is what i claimed when i knew i will miss them. Teeheee!

Picture told everything.

Above on what we were standing, there was once a chapel. When Islam spread and came to Siwa, it became the mosque. There were also men walked between us to get there. Pray maybe. Praise be to Allah.:)

Tadaa..!!  This is the scenery around the temple looks like.

At the top.  Me with an attempt to fail a picture of her. haha XD

We can see the view of siwa from above. There was salt lake behind us.

The day was getting hotter. We rushed to Cleopatra's spring or pool. It's a big round pool where boys jumping into and bath in it during hot weather. -_-' T
he water was soooo blue~

Heaven feeling to jump in. I can feel it, bro~ wondering how much the depth too.

They were swimming happily and I don't know what to do here. errk, what the fish?! Am i just came here to watch them? Oh no~... Fortunately,  there is little coffee house by the pool. :D Ulfah offered me her Siwa tea. Hurmm it nice, has a characteristic taste yet bitter too. I ordered Mango Lassi, a delicious mango and yogurt drink. pheew, what a wonderful feeling. We relaxed, played with little kitten n enjoy our drinks. We were feeling fresh again!

Pretty sight~ Sheltered from a scorching summer sun~

lol, just by looking at this make me feel thirsty again.~

Guess what, the story behind our next stop was fascinating. It was Dakhrur Mountain where thousands of Siwan people do gathering every year in October for Siwa Festival (dont remember the exact name). It's m
y favourite month..:p

Oh yea, rite.. It's Syaha Festival!
It lasts for 3 days. The story behind the mark of this festival was also interesting. The story goes as once upon a time... no no, many years ago, there were tribes in Siwa who fought with each other. I don't know what they were quarrel for. There was a person from a clan had order all Siwan to attend a meeting at this mountain. They were men compelled to pray to God for the harmony and they refused to leave until all the quarrels been settled. Gulp, kinda big issues! :o

They celebrate this festival annually. They did zikr, partake a huge feast, resolved quarrels and renewed friendship. Aaww, that's so sweet~  There were altogether 12 clans in Siwa. And guess, only the head of each clan which represent his own clan will do the voting in the election. @-@.  So bad that this festival had been banned nowadays since the revolution :'(. There were lots and lots of question and answer about Siwan to be dig and i guess it will take 2 days 2 night to finish it. XD Yeah, rite.

Before we get back to our hotel for lunch, we went to salt lake for a short visit..:)

I see white *.*~  there are visible salt crystal in the water.

This is not 'frozen' location site.:P
and my friends busy scooping salt into the bottle. 0-0

Well, i had a taste and the water was sooo salty. Even saltier than the salt lake of Bahariya. Siwa was once of depression that reaches below sea level and the lake is a portion of it. That's how the saltiness came from. Did they used this crystal salt and soil to built the Sali fortress? Hurmm, seems logic~

Craft made from salt at Shali Art-Bazar

Our next activity after having the lunch was joining the Desert Safari. ;D Not all of us joined this activity. There were 2 jeep that brought us to explore the beauty of this desert.

This is how siwa's desert look like. Sandhills all around.

We stopped at small dune to snap a picture.:) I think there's no history of this place to be told ya..

We are altogether 10. Guys hairstyle was so weird. That 's the art of siwa desert. lol..
and the way we jumped was errrkkk.. kinda hurmmmm... and someone face was missing!

We went to an oasis in the middle of the desert. There were many fishes sized from small to big inside it. Compared to the salt lake, i guess there were no creature living inside it due to it saltiness. Oouh okay, now i know, this is where the fishes live and Siwan get protein from.:P

the view of the oasis from the dune.
I gave the fishes special chicken flavour of bread. Wanna make them carnivourous. haha.. Naaa, not logic.. :P

Aggresive attack on the bread..

me with ninjas of the desert..
and interrupted other person picture.

Our next 'roller-coaster like ride' adventure in the desert was so ridiculous and kinda cool! My friend started to shout and laugh causing ammu', the driver to tease her again and again. haha. After that crazy ride, we had stop at a cold spring.

This is how the spring look like..:)
People come to soak their  feet in the water but we invade here to take picture.

And another picture..

Ok, that is enough.

Sigh, we had come to the level of  'tak tahu nak buat apa dah'. Picture of our shoes -_-'

Our next stop was the site where the fossil of fish is located. Unfortunately, my jeep was stuck on the sand dune. Why did this happened to us?

huh, thanks. Due to this unexpected situation, we got attention and support by other friends..-_-'  see! haha.

Not only from my right side,

but also from the left side. ok, our jeep temporarily got famous..

But in positive way, we, persons in the stuck jeep got beautiful shot from them...

Persons at the back squeezing like sardines in a can just to be in picture.. lol.

and i was at ease~ fuhh. Failed at the other side snap.
We also don't want to miss our special shot on the sand dune too.

with any whatsoever pose that came to our mind.

here 3 ammus and their discussion.

It' a relieved. Our jeep problem had been solved and we visited the fossil site. Why fish? This place is once a depression years ago. ''Hurm, why not starfish, clam or dolphin eh? btw, what kind of fish it is?'' haha. Please stop this ridiculous question, Haniey Izhar!

Here's the fossil. hurm..:/

And the rough whitish land was actually coral long time ago.

At the same time we just got to know a Taiwanese woman came by another jeep. For me she's so brave as she travelled alone even it is common things to do by other tourist.

Our last activity in the desert was playing sandboard. The sand dune was steeper and longer than in Bahariya made me feel out of breath when i was trying to climb back to the top. Fuh, that's tough. I played it twice. Okay, i realized my stamina level got down!  I am done now!

This is how sandboard look like. My focus here just to play while  ammu' at the back tried to put up fire to make tea.. :)

And the sun had set down.

We enjoyed the sunset and later on having tea together with the Taiwanese woman that we just met before.  XD We did selfie again. Oh nope, it is now a groufie with ammu!

We went back to our hotel and prepared ourselves for dinner hunting again. I thought we went there by bus, but actually we rode on truck to reach the small town of Shali. Airy~ It was calm and breezy night. Once we get there, they were many people in the restaurant watching something on the screen. Hehe, Siwan watched Fifa too!!!  Without wasting any time we checked in a restaurant and ordered different menu of foods.

While waiting for food.  Everyone looked hungry and exhausted.  Stomach was growling. Oh no, seems like not everyone.

We then strolled around, bought ice and looked for things as souvenir. I bought a packet of dried lemongrass. Yeah rite, i know it sound weird to buy the lemongrass as a souvenir -_-' but it's useful and it is not easy to find it here. I admitted that i am kinda astonished with this finding. lol. Most of my friends bought dates and olive oil.

It's getting late and we had sleepy puppy eye. We rode back on the truck and went back to our hotel. I was really tired and i only got sleep for around 2 to 3 hrs before reach next subh.

21st of June 2014

It was the last day of our trip, the day of travelling back to Cairo. There were no other places to visit. We took a picture together before we travelled. The journey took around 9 to 10 hrs. Oh my back! Nice, we had stopped at Matruh for our lunch.

only god know how hungry i am at this time. omg~

And this is the last picture with all friends in this trip.
~The End~
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

This trip worked as a new start up for my long study as we don't have any holidays later on. But it was a lie! I backed home and even had holidays. So don't trust me in any of my early decision plan. It will change later.  This trip gave us memorable events and feelings. Thanks to all who join this trip. ('-')v

p/s:  I planned to write it short, but why it turn to a long post?? >,<'
