Yea! i just finished my elective attachment in HSAH, Sg Petani yesterday. ;D I was having an elective attachment from 9/9 till 29/9/2013 for 2 department which were medical 1st then into the emergency & trauma. A beautiful period of time. Honestly i was a bit blur on the first day in a medical ward.:P I came with a friend but she was in another ward and doctor was separating us -_-. What should i do? What must i do? How should i start? 0_O ! And many thought came to my mind. However, i managed to cope it. ^_^ Thank to doctors who helped me during this phase and by giving tasks, some of them had taught me till i understand (even i didn't learn it yet, so it's an advance :D ) plus giving advises, med assistants who explained many things, nurses who helped along and patients who gave cooperation. <3 b="">3>
Btw, there are many lesson that i learnt during my attachment. So i want to jot down some of them.
st lesson: Not all people are like us. They came from different background, culture and believe. The way they talk (harsh, sweet, calm, good, annoying, @_@ etc) , seeing and treat others are also not the same. Don't expect them to be us.
nd lesson: Not all people are lucky as us. They may have lost their love one or even lost some part of their body/malfunction. Some of them also having finance & family problem. Appreciate what we have and grateful for what we r.
rd lesson: What u strive now is what u r in future. strive! strive! for the future!
th lesson: Study smart and please be consistent. Meaningful advice. Study well dear. Much things to learns and more knowledge to gain.
th lesson: Be good to people then they'll be good to u. It almost same to a saying of 'what u give is what u get'. Be kind to mankind. Use a proper way and manner to people. (seems like i am a med student with innocent face.. lol)
th lesson: Don't be shame for what u really don't know. Ask! Silent syndrome does not help. Be proactive.
th lesson: Opportunity doesn't always come, sometime u need to search it. It's not like waiting a sack of gold falling down from the sky. Of course it doesn't happen... lol.
th lesson: Do work quick and don't waste your time.
